The Inmate Services Section consists of nine (9) subordinate work units. Each work unit operates to assist the Detentions Bureau and the Sheriff's Office in accomplishing the goal of maintaining a safe, secure, and effective jail system. These work units include the Legal Resource Center, Inmate Commissary, Food Services, Laundry Services, Lerdo Warehouse, Maintenance Services, Incarcerated persons Telephones and Video Visitation, The Lerdo Chaplain Services, and Released Incarcerated persons Transportation. The Inmate Services Section is staffed with one (1) Detentions Lieutenant, one (1) Detentions Sergeant, two (2) Detentions Senior Deputies, four seven (7) Detentions Deputies, thirty-eight (38) civilian employees and numerous contract employees.
