These units include the Programs Unit, AB-109 Realignment, Cal-AIM, Administrative Clerks, Bakersfield Adult School, Lerdo Main Gate Schedule, Lerdo Maximum-Medium Facility, and the Lerdo Minimum Facility. Collectively, these work groups provide a wide range of operational, rehabilitative, administrative, and intake-related services designed to enhance facility efficiency, improve incarcerated persons outcomes, and ensure that all statutory and departmental requirements are met.
The Programs Section is staffed by one (1) Detentions Lieutenant, one (1) Detentions Sergeant, one (1) Detentions Senior Deputy, seven (7) Detentions Deputies, and fifty-three (53) civilian employees. This diverse and integrated workforce enables the section to effectively manage daily operations, coordinate programs, facilitate incarcerated persons services, and maintain consistent communication and support across all detention facilities and partner agencies
