The Maintenance Section is responsible for all physical plant repairs and upgrades related to safety, security, operations, and health issues in the jail, as well as support and substation facilities in the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. The mission is to provide a 24/7/365 timely response to interruptions of essential services to these facilities, preserving infrastructure and ensuring the safety of staff and incarcerated persons.
