The Kern Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy Will offer a STUDENT SPONSORED POST Basic Academy Scheduled for TBA

The Kern Regional Training Academy is committed to preparing men and women for a successful career in law enforcement. The Kern Regional Training Academy will provide students with the training to enter into a career in law enforcement.

The Academy is approximately six months long and administered in a structured paramilitary disciplined environment. Academy staff will evaluate the student’s capabilities and performance within a safe and controlled environment. Upon successful completion of the academy the student will receive a POST certificate and be eligible for employment with most California law enforcement agencies.

This is not a job offer. Student completing the training program must apply and meet department specific hiring requirements before being employed by a law enforcement agency.
